Three phases. Every hour that matters is already decided, so you never have to work out what to do next — you only have to do it.
One rule for tomorrow: the barber call happens before you open your laptop. Everything else is recoverable; that one has a deadline.
Your morning already works — you wake, read, wash, and eat 1,000 calories with creatine. The failure is a single five-and-a-half-hour hole between 2pm and dinner where nothing happens. 16:00 and 21:30, set once, labelled with the actual food. That closes the hole without requiring you to decide anything at 4pm.
Nothing here builds muscle — five days can't. This phase is entirely about grooming sequencing, sleeping well the right two nights, and arriving full rather than flat.
| When | What, and why that day specifically |
|---|---|
| Mon 4 or Tue 5 | Barber. A fade sits best 2–3 days after cutting, never the same day. Ask for the fade and tell them you're growing the curl on top — don't let them thin it out. |
| Tue 5, evening | Body hair. Two days of buffer, not one — you reacted badly last time and it lasted weeks. Alcohol-wipe the clippers first (dirty blades cause folliculitis), guard on at 0.5–1mm, with the grain, benzoyl peroxide after rather than a soothing lotion. |
| Wed 6 | Real shave, using whatever the Sunday test proved your skin tolerates. Keep the session light. 8 hours sleep tonight — this is the night that shows on your face. |
| Thu 7 | Pump session 2–4 hours before. Lateral raises 4×20, push-ups 3×15, curls 3×15, tricep extension 3×15. Short rests. Then eat properly and drink water — do not skip meals to "look leaner," empty muscles look smaller, not sharper. |
Roughly 1.5–3kg of fullness from creatine saturation and glycogen refilled by eating properly. On a 52kg frame that genuinely changes how a t-shirt sits. You have already banked most of it — the creatine every day was the right call.
What does not change: upper chest size, triceps size, the flat marks on your arms and chest. Five days is not a small amount of muscle growth — it's zero. Anyone promising otherwise is selling something. Knowing this now is what stops the 7th feeling like a failure.
This is the one that actually works. Sixteen days with nobody to impress at the end of it is long enough for skin, teeth, sleep and habits to genuinely change — and those are most of what you're actually insecure about.
You said you want to do it perfectly. That single word has ended every previous attempt, and it will end this one too.
The mechanism is the same loop you already know: day four goes wrong, "perfect" is broken, the whole thing feels contaminated, you stop. That is "not worth it → do nothing" wearing a more ambitious costume.
So there is no "perfect" in this block. There is a floor and there is a target. Hitting the floor means the day counted. Ten target days and six floor days beats four perfect days followed by quitting, by an enormous margin — and it is the version that actually happens.
Hit these and the day counted. Not a good day — a day that happened. Nothing gets written off, ever.
Aim here. Land here most days. Do not punish yourself for the others.
Push APull BMilestone Eleven sessions in sixteen days. If you genuinely feel wrecked, take the rest day early and shift everything down one — the pattern survives.
| Time | What |
|---|---|
| Wake | 500ml water + creatine · 10 min outside · SPF after washing |
| +1h | Meal 1 — ~900 kcal |
| 16:00 | Meal 2 — ~700 kcal (alarm) |
| 17:30 | Session, then shower immediately — BP wash, 60 seconds on before rinsing |
| 19:30 | Meal 3 — ~750 kcal |
| 21:30 | Meal 4 — ~600 kcal (alarm) |
| Evening | 30 min reading, phone in another room · whitening strip (passive) |
| Night | Floss → brush → spit don't rinse → tongue scrape → salicylic or retinoid → moisturiser |
Thirty minutes earlier per night until you land, then hold. The wake time is the anchor, not the bedtime — you cannot force yourself to sleep earlier, but you can force yourself up, and the sleep pressure follows within a few days.
| Nights | Bed | Wake |
|---|---|---|
| Aug 9–10 | 3:00am | 11:00am |
| Aug 11–12 | 2:00am | 10:00am |
| Aug 13–14 | 1:00am | 9:00am |
| Aug 15 → | 12:30am | 8:30am |
| Aug 16–24 | Hold it there. Same wake time every day including weekends — that consistency is what makes it stick. | |
Aug 9 is the day you start the retinoid. This was wrong before the 7th and it is right now, because the purge finally has room to happen. Adapalene 0.1%, pea-sized, at night, every third night for the first week, then every other night. Moisturiser on top.
Everything else continues: BP wash on the back and chest with 60 seconds of contact, salicylic acid on the nose, SPF every morning, niacinamide if you have it.
Around days 7–14 of the retinoid your skin will likely look worse — more spots, some flaking, some redness. This is the purge: microcomedones that were already under the surface all coming up at once. It is the drug working, not failing.
This is the moment you would normally quit. Don't. Push through and it clears from roughly week 4 onward, and the result is better skin than anything else on this page can give you. Do not score the block on how your face looks on Aug 24 — that one is a three-month investment that happens to start here.
| Thing | By Aug 24 |
|---|---|
| Back & chest | Genuinely clearer. 16 days is the real timeline for benzoyl peroxide. This is the biggest visible win available. |
| Teeth | A full whitening course fits. Two to four shades if you run it properly. |
| Sleep | Fixed. 16 days is more than enough at 30 minutes a night. |
| Weight | +1.5–2.5kg — part muscle, part glycogen and water. Visible on a 52kg frame. |
| Strength | Noticeably up. Mostly neural, which is why it comes fast — you'll be lifting meaningfully more than tonight. |
| Muscle | ~0.5kg. Real but subtle. Photos will show it; the mirror won't. |
| Face | Possibly mid-purge and worse. Expected. Not a failure. See above. |
| Habits | The actual prize. Sixteen days of hitting a floor is what makes September possible. |
